Hi,
I'm upgrading from my Samsung A400 and would also like to get rid of
my landline phone as well, so I want a phone that has great reception
and sound quality (I'd prefer it if the person I'm calling doesn't
say, "are you calling from a cell phone?").
The V60v looks to be a good basic phone. I don't need cameras or PCS
vision, just a solid voice phone.
Are there any new V60v owners out there who can comment on the quality
of this phone?
Thanks in advance,
at

The only SprintPCS phone I didnt get that with was a Treo 300.

I have heard that the V60 is pretty solid, but from experience, Sanyo
usually provides good to very good sound and voice quality, especially
the 4900 or 8100. Either entry-level Nokia phone (3585i or 3588i) are
also excellent phones if you are looking for a solid voice phone. The
nokias will have no access to Vision, but the 3588i has text messaging
capabilities.

Re: Any Motorola V60v reviews?
Voice quality is geat and signal quailty is realy great. If you are
in a fringe area this is the phone to own. Also the voice dialing
works really well.
You might get a camera with a Sanyo but you will be out of service

Re: Any Motorola V60v reviews?
Thanks to all for the advice.
The V60v has "true SMS" listed as one of it's features. Is it
possible to send SMS text messages TO someone's Yahoo Messenger? I
know I said I just need a voice phone earlier, but this could be a
useful feature.
Thanks again,

No. Our SMS system goes to phone numbers (and, interestingly, to=20
email addresses).

Re: Any Motorola V60v reviews?
not a clue I don't use SMS. You get 2 weeks to return if you don't like it
