Today I received a letter from Sprint telling me that since I was not a
Vision customer they were going to change by usage of Vision services
from .002/KB to .01/KB. The letter also stated that I should sign-up for
Free and Clear with Vision.
Well the problem is I have a Free and Clear Plan with Vision and have
since it inception. So, I called SprintPCS and the CS rep confirmed my
account as including unlimited Vision and said the letter must be a
mistake. At any rate I'm concerned I received a letter like this, so
I'm going to watch by bill this month very carefully to see if anything
changes... It seems every once in a while Sprint will change your plan
and stick you with a screwed up bill.
Has anyone else with Vision received a similar letter?

I received the same letter and called to ask about it. I was told it
must have been a mistake and not to worry about it. I have had vision
since it was first offered so this letter did puzzle me as well

They are charging (this may be new, are you paying) $7.50/month extra
for Vision on the 2nd phone on a shared minutes plan. Perhaps you use
Vision on both phones, but your bill does not have a charge for the 2nd
phone???

Hmm... that letter was only supposed to go to customers with no vision plan.
All it really means is that casual usage rates have been corrected. For
whatever reason, you were setup to get charged the 0.2¢/KB charge, and now,
if you ever incur casual usage charges, they'll be 1.0¢/KB. But if you're
on a plan, then it doesn't matter.

Same thing happened to me. I have the Free and Clear Plan with Vision
on both phones (500 shared minutes; Vision is $15 for primary phone,
$7.50 for 2nd phone). When I received the letter, I called CS. The CS
rep confirmed both phones had a Vision plan and told me to ignore the
letter.

Can't be cheap for SprintPCS to screw up like this. Cost of generating
the letters. Cost of postage, and then all the CSR time explaining the
"mistake", and then the cost of reprogramming the computers?
