I've been waiting a week for iSim to provide a replacement sim card -
in the meantime, no mobile service and voicemail disconnected (because
service was suspended).
Suffice to say I am annoyed (especially as callers get "not in
service" and no voicemail). Anyway, assuming isim don't get their act
together, can anyone recommend a cheap alternative prepaid provider
that I can port my number to? I don't make many outgoing calls, so I
just want cheap casual rates (and not really looking for a new phone).
Thanks.

Re: Cheap prepaid service (not isim)?
If you get lots of incoming calls, telstra - u get 5c per full min for
incoming calls, which offsets their high rates when u need to make a
call,
Otherwise, optus.... which is the same thing as virgin or isim, just
different rates
As a last resort vodafone, on the 365 day plan... it all depends on
your average number of incomming and outgoing calls, post that on here,
and I am sure someone will devise a plan for you

may be you can try unisonmobile (a post-paid one) on vodafone network,
it's absolutely free if you don't make any call. I've been using it as a
standby one for over 1 years and haven't paid any yet.

Well you want to think twice about Telstra Prepaid, shortly the recharge
periods you get for your recharge are going to be drastically reduced
For example the current $100 for 12 mths is about to be $100 for 6 mths
