Hey there. I've been searching and searching on the net for ages for a
tangible solution. They all seem to be remote (UK or US).

Is there an Austn expert who can help me? I shoved a 2G Optus SIM into
a Three 3G Nokia 7600. I get a sense that flashing it with generic
firmware is possible, but it's a closely guarded secret and no one is
letting me in. The Nokia Care Centre said they can't help me.

Is there a way to do it myself? Or... would Optus be willing to do it
for me?

Grr... frustration!
