Trying to switch carriers

Hi everyone, I need a little help.

Old phone: Kyocera Wild-Card

I just recently got a Verizon Blackberry Curve. I want to deactivate the Verizon, and switch it over to Virgin Mobile. Is there any possible way I could do that, where I can switch my new Blackberry to have my Virgin Mobile phone number? Any help is appreciated.

You want a new number and a new carrier yet keep the phone? I don't think that is possible but you should just call verizon. I don't blame you verizon is not very good
