my sister bought me a sidekick 2 (t-mobile) but the thing is im here in the philippines, i tried to use other sim card but the phone is asking for a special pin number, is it possible for me to use it here? is there any way to unlock it?

Did she pay retail to get it, can she fax that as proof, shes here she needs the handset type and the IMEI (serial) number, if shes here she can email the information needed to get the sim unlock code for a purchased handset she can give your email address or forward the response she gets to you, it will be the unlock code and instructions, the timeframe is usually 24 to 48 hrs.

you could try to unlock the sidekick but even if you unlock it you wont be able to use it for aim,email,web browsing, you know all the good stuff. just as a phone and to text people
