Any way to listen and charge at the same time?

I was wondering if it is physically possible to mate a car charger and the headphone jack together and have both work at the same time. I like to have the phone on MobiTV and listen to it through my car's sound system, but it sucks so much juice from the cell phone battery that I'd like to keep it hooked up to the charger and still listen through the jack. Anybody ever try it? Thanks for any help out there.
