i installed the program and i uploaded the ring tones.....but when i go to ringtones on the phone the files are not there but if i go to soudns they appear there but i cannot set them as ring tones. How can i make them so they will appear in my ring tones and can be set as a ringtone?

Using motorol v180 with cingular/att service

try changing the file names on them before you save them.

dont use p2k for ringtones unless you have to. If you do you have to delete the MyToneDB.db and TempToneDB.db files from the root directory then boot the phone. These 2 files keep a log of the ringtones and will be re-created and updated with the new tones you added on power up. If you use MPT it does it for you.

deleting those files also fixes not being able to get into ring details if you deleted a tone that was in use.
