Can I Use my phone in abroad

hi,
i have a motorola KZAR K1 phone and i am living in india.
if i go outside of india (US,UK) then i wana know that my phone is working there. Coz i have heard that in Aborad only Tri -Band phone is working
and i have no idea abt my phone whatever it is equipped with Tri band or not.

the k1 is quad band & i am sure your phone is unlocked & you will be able to use it in the USA on any GSM network.
