Ok so I just won an ebay auction for a Blackberry 7520 so that I can upgrade my nextel phone from the crappy i265. This is my question I have the $30 month plan through sprints SERO (employee referral program) and it says that i have unlimited data on the site (but in the my sprint view I dont see that) I was wondering 1) Does that plan really have unlimited data and 2) with that unlimited data can I use all of the data features on the Blackberry, ie web browser.

Also what do I need to do to get the Blackberry to work properly. Can I just switch my sim out of my i265 or do I need to buy a new sim.... and if I need a new one would u trust the ones that people sell on ebay or do I need to get one from sprint?

Sprints BB service is $49.99 per month.
You must call Sprint to activate a Sprint phone.
Swapping SIM cards is not recommended.
I would not buy a phone off ebay.

AND from now on I will not buy a phone off ebay.... just got the phone today and what do you know its either been reported lost or stolen.... or its still active on the last owners account either way I cant switch my service so its now basically an oversized paperweight....

I tried puttin my old sim in and that didnt really work out for me... yahoo messenger wouldnt work.... I was able to call my house but i couldnt call my voicemail because It kept adding a 7 to the end for some reason... i dont kno guess ill try to get my money back but I doubt that will happen.. glad i only spent $50

yo check it i did the same thing you did except i bought the phone from someone in person... just go to the nextel store with the blackberry and tell them you want the service put on it and you will buy blackberry sim card for it. its like 30 bucks or something.... tell them the person sold you the phone you dont know the name or account information for the last owner. tell them the original owner of the phone said it was okay for me to put my service on it. thats all you gotta do.

after that worked for me i found my keyboard on my blackberry wasnt working.... i brought it back in 2 weeks later and got a 7100i upgraded brand new no contract extension for $50.... but now im canceling my contract because nextel sucks I got me an iphone its sitting under my christmas tree!
