Ok, my phone won't work, i have a Cingular SIM card and tried to put it in my grandma's phone (Samsung R225M, it has the T-Mobile logo on it) and it said "Wrong Card." So can I not switch phones? or do i have to have a servicer person do it? Please help quick, I'm leaving for vacation Friday and really need a phone!

I doubt t-mobile would unlock it as it is not a world phone..
Not sure if the cable is needed or just a code ???
unlockitnow.com will sell the kit for $19.95

i meant a person with t-mobile mainly the original owner of the phone. u really just need their sim card. put it in, unlock, give it back, put urs in.
for samsung phones, u have to call a certain number like #00000 iono it off the top of my head. go to afterdawn they have good unlockin tutorials.Last edited by InsomniacBlue; 07-28-2005 at 02:07 PM.
