i flashed my s105 to s100 (WA3 firmware) and absolutely love it. the only thing i miss is the phonebook shortcut but one extra button to push is fine with me. no time/date to block the wallpaper, free t-zones (csd configuration), etc. just research on here or howardforums.com (under samsung faqs) for procedures on flashing. it's safe but a detailed procedure. i have done tons of firmware flashes on most samsung models and haven't had one phone die yet. hope that answers your question.

has anyone who has done the s105->s100 flash noticed a few bugs (probably mentioned in hofo)? the ones i noticed (that i remember seeing at hofo) is the bug where sometimes when you bring up the recent calls list, the first entry that's highlighted is an empty line and when you press down, the second entry is highlighted. the other bug i noticed is that in the same recent calls list, there is a lot of lag. there's also a lot of lag when entering a name when making a new phonebook entry. but these are all small annoyances really.

the only bug i have noticed is the loag when entering names in the phonebook. doesn't affect me much, i can find who i need within two letters. my most often dialed numbers are in speed dial. small price to pay for so much more. like getting rid of the damn time/date crap amongst some other things.
