unlock my phone please! going overseas

HI guys. I just got my phone via t-mobile but am traveling overseas in a few days. Would anyone be kind enough to inform me on how to unlock my phone? I was I told i could do it myself if given the correct code. Thanks!

i have heard that you can call t-mo at 611 and tell them that you will traveling overseas and they will give you the code with no trouble at all. you can also e-mail them but i can't remember what is it right now. you can do a search for it on howardforums.com. from what i have noticed/read, you will have to entire that code everytime you turn on/off the phone to unlock it. another option that eliminates keying in the code all the time is to flash the phone with a new firmware. you can find more info about this on howardforums.com and any other samsung related sites.

if not there are a lot of programs that you can download to unlock yourphone. I dotn know if im allowed to post where so just send me a pm and ill let you know where to look. JUst to let you know you need a data cable to do it. good luck with customer care though
