Gzone and Env 9900 (We Have)

We just got these 2 weeks ago and have done lots of searching. I am used to the things I could do on my Nextel, I could program whatever and do most anything. Could get into the trace mode and see the coordinates of which tower I was talking on. I dont have a clue (yet) what Verizon is all about.

Could use programs like trimble outdoors and telnav (free) to get my coordinates etc. Im am a ham radio op and like knowing what tower I am coming off of. I like to be able to check GPS coordinates/elevation and gee tracking would be fun to but dont want to pay to play.

Looking for anything these phones can do or Verizon stuff that is interesting..

Cant tell you too many cool things to do with the g'zone. But hop into the Diag mode on the 9900 and you can watch your towers and get you distance from the towers easly enough.
