Please tell me whether the Samsung SGH-a707 will accept a 2GB micro SD card.
I'm getting conflicting signals on this. Many thanks.

A 2GB card works in my a707 without a problem.

Great! That's what I wanted to hear. I found the 2GB MicroSD card offered on
amazon.com for $49.95, but from companies that I do not know. Can you
recommend a source?

Its more helpful to tell us *which* brand of card you are using. Sometimes
brands vary in compatability(?) and some brands give problems. Just to
narrow it down.

I am using a Scandisk card. It is actually the one Cingular sells, but
unless you know someone who works for Cingular and gets the employee
discount I would shop around. List price is $99 (for those of you in the
USA) from Cingular.
While on the topic of the a707, if you want to use Samsungs PC Studio
software (free on their web site), be sure to get version 3.1. Earlier
versions do not work properly with the a707. The Samsung download site
points to an older version of the software that does not work. Forgive me
for the long URL, but here is the correct version:
http://www.samsung.com/support/produ...bilePhones.sec
The forums on Cingular's web site (http://forums.cingular.com) are a good
source of information for the a707. Well worth checking out.
