Is there anyway to get back the original operator logo (from custom
logo)? I've Googled a lot, but got lot of links---all of them didn't
help me. More specifically, I'm here in India so certain workarounds
didn't help me. I hope, there will be some kind of "secret codes". Am
    I right? TIA

Try entering *#OPR0LOGO# at the standby screen

Great! Thanks a lot. By Googling "*#opr0logo#", I came across a
    very good site <http://members.iinet.net.au/~nunesp/Nokia/Codes.htm>
    Thanks for that.

BTW, I found one strange thing with this code. When I applied this
code, I could see other networks' logo too (I haven't opted for
    roaming!)

Hmm...the opr0 code mentioned above clears (deletes) the operator logo, so
u'll be able to see all operator's name (logo). You mean domestic roaming...
some networks have free roaming (ie no additional charge using another
    network)..

Yes, you're right. Logo (name) of other networks appeared for me
only upto 2hours; after that it became normal. I was wondering how it
happend 'coz I didn't opted for roaming and it never happend before.
Anyway, thanks for the great info.

PS. If you want it to stick onto only one network, go to settings>phone
setts.>network selection>manual and choose ur home network. Will never
change network till next phone on/off sequence i tink
