Hi there, I live in Toronto. I'm currently with the Bell cellular network,
and I do enjoy the plan and service. But I hate the phones that bell
offers. I am looking into buying a nokia phone, either one of the 6360,
6340, 6340i. If I have the phone unlocked can it be used with Bell's CDMA
network? As far as I know, all three of these phones are offered for TDMA
networks. IF they are unlocked, can they be used with Bell's CDMA network?
Would I need to buy any hardware to insert into the phone. I keep hearing
about buying a SIM card. Would I have to buy a SIM card as well as pay to
have it unlocked? I'm completely confused on this matter and would greatly
appreciate your help.
Thanks for your time.

No, the models you ask about will not work at all with Bell's network.
Bell is a CDMA network. 6360 is a phone for IS-136 (TDMA) networks
and the 6340/6340i is a GAIT phone to be used in networks
transitioning from TDMA to GSM. SIM cards are only used with GSM
networks. Unless you change to Rogers you cannot use these phones
with Bell Mobility.
