    Apols. Text in full...

While N-Gage isn't exactly shifting by the truck-load as it is, matters
aren't going to be helped by this new hack

In what has to be a worrying development for Nokia, it's been revealed that
the security of their N-Gage phone/games handheld has been hacked, allowing
other non-Nokia handsets to play N-Gage games.

It's been reported that it's already possible to run N-Gage software on the
Siemens SX1, with other handsets likely to follow.

N-Gage was launched in early October and was met with a hostile critical
reaction, which cited that it wasn't entirely satisfactory as either a phone
    or a games device.

"You actually speak into the side of the phone so it looks like you're
holding a giant ear," reckoned GamesMaster magazine. "The reset button is
right next to the control buttons, which is a nightmare when you're playing
    combo-heavy games like Tony Hawk's.

"Starting up a game is a pain in the ass. You have to turn off the console,
take the back off and remove the battery, before slipping your game in and
putting it all back together. And the screen is the wrong way around. It has
more in common with the old school GBC than GBA's classy wide-screen effect,
making the games look a bit squashed."

According to new figures from Chart-Track, just over 1700 N-Gages have been
sold thus far in the UK via games retailers, with an average of just over
300 units being sold a week.
