    I currently have a Blackberry Bold with an AT&T data only plan. If I got an iPhone 3G could I move the SIM from the Bold to iPhone and get it to work with same AT&T data plan without getting AT&T involved? Does the iPhone need to be unlocked?

    You do not need to get it unlocked, just get it jailbroken
