    My wife is not a cell phone lover and is annoyed by her samsung x497 because it doesn't tell her loudly enough that the battery is low.

    What phone does a good job of indicating low battery?

    i dont deal with cingular but most motorola's that i've dealt with have audible battery low indicators.

    Yes Motorolas have that very annoying low battery tone...i love Motorola phones though..

    Yup I will have to add my 2 cents in on the Motorola's being annoying when the battery is low. Didn't know what was making that noise, but it got me out of the bed to rumage around until I found the phone in my backpack.

    A good cure for that (during a call), is one of those backup talk time chargers, for those times you are caught without a spare battery or wall/car adapter for charging your phone.
