Which of these 9 are the better phone?

Black Berry Pearl 8130 Smartphone, Samsung SCH-u550, Nokia 6205, LG VX5500, Verizon Wireless CDM8950, Nokia 2605 Mirage, Samsung Sway, Samsung Smooth, Samsung Alias SCH-u740

My Verizon plan has ended and these phones are free, or offered for a small charge(Samsung Sway, Samsung Smooth and Samsung Alias SCH-u740) if i re-sign with Verizon. I do not know much about cell phones and was hoping someone here could explain me the differences between these phones or at least the differences between the top few to help narrow my decision. I would enjoy having a better camera and/or video cam with my phone, though if a few are close, then i would much rather the better phone. My main need for the phone would be phone calls and texts, next would be pictures. Though, I have a very basic cell phone now, so if there are any other cool options with any of these phones, please feel free to share as they may interest me also. I was told some phones (such as the black berry pearl) may require additional charges when i renew my plan, if that is the case for this phone or any others, PLEASE let me know---as i am not interested in upgrading plans, but rather getting a new phone and continue with the plan i have.
