Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and go to “Info”
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an account
  5. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  6. Once done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in to the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook using the Contacts app

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: The methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, but you can also share your iPhone contacts via third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts over email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Open the app and create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
  3. Write an email and ensure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the vCard to your email address
  5. Switch to the Android phone and open the email
  6. Download the vCard and import it to your phonebook via the “Contacts” app

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: This is another third-party app for Android and iOS you can use to back up and share contacts over a peer-to-peer connection without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Install the app on both phones from their respective app stores
  2. Open the apps on both devices
  3. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  5. Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts
