Hey,

I understand some time back Sprint and Nextel merged but to get Nextel phones same with Sprint, you have to go to a Sprint store. So even when making Nextel phones, this day which is larger? I kind of want Nextel this April. So I had my Sprint phone for a year in April, I just go ahead and port from Sprint to Nextel and so on then sign a 2 year contracted with Nextel and close out Sprint. I am curious what is better Sprint or Nextel? I don't know if this is true or not. I have Sprint and the text is good but with Nextel hybird phones text isn't good. Is that true or not true. Thank you for any feedback. I hope I have this thread in the right section, if not please move it and I can find it.

Sprint was a bigger entity than Nextel (Sprint was the #3 carrier and Nextel was #5 prior to the merger) and I don't suppose that changed much. I think Sprint is ripe to get bought out soon, they keep bleeding customers and cutting jobs...Maybe Verizon or Alltell will buy them up.

Thank you for the info. Why do they still make Nextel phones or why do they still have them in stores? I wanted Nextel. What is Direct Connect? I do know this April 1st, I had Sprint for a year and they told me to come back in April and they can port out and possibly transfer accounts.

Damn!! Good Ol' Nextel is dying really really slow. Now what am I going to do with my life? Its been so long that i've heared someone saying they want Nextel. What kinda Nextel model were you planing on getting?

I am not sure what kind of model I want. It depends what is on sale.
