I took ages to get a nice wallpaper, now just realised that the "Rogers" logo is right in the middle of it! I searched here and can't find a solution.
How does a person get rid of that? I assume you can't!
Its a LG CE500 (says LG500 on the box), obviously on Rogers.
I have had several phones and over the years I am sure its sometimes said Rogers, or Home or nothing at one time I think, on older Nokias.
In the menu the only thing I could find was "Banner On" or Banner Off"....whats the banner? I turn it off and see nothing happen on the phone anywhere. Even power off and on again.
THX.

All I have in settings is BANNER on or off. No more. BANNER was actually off all the time. When I turn it on it promps me to type something, so I type my name. Then when I go back to the wallpaper, home screen, I still have ROGERS across the middle, and my name directly below it! So I turned BANNER off and my name is now gone.
I'll have to call Rogers themselves to just find out for sure. It'd be nice if it wasn't there. Free advertising to anyone that sees my phone!
Thanks anyway.
