    I have had my Chocolate VX 8550 for about a year now and for the last few months I have had a problem with the "Sent" box on my text messaging. My phone should be able to support 100 messages in the "Inbox" and 100 messages in the "Sent." Now for some reason the Sent folder stops at 50 and begins to auto delete the oldest sent text message. The Inbox, however, still works perfectly.

    I checked my phone's memory and it has more than enough space available for texts. I also went to the verizon store and they sent me a new phone for free but it has the exact same problem. Also, I got all the software upgrades and none of that has fixed the problem.

    PLEASE has anyone had this problem before or know how to fix it?

    Just want to ask but do you have 100 in the inbox right now and are they all sms or do you have any MMS in there as well?

    right now I have 88 Messages in my Inbox, and 50 Messages in my Sent (like always). And all the messages in my Sent are SMS although every once in a while I will have some MMS, but that doesnt change the amount it holds.

    HUH to be honest I would say this may be a software problem with your phone. I would go to the store if you can and have them trouble shoot your phone. They should be able to do a software update.
    Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.

    I have been to the Verizon store, and got the latest software update. They even gave me a brand new phone and the problem remains.
