Common DROID Defect

The Motorola DROID was designed with a faulty battery back support system.

is that Standard Battery Door the same old thing that comes standard with droid ?

Yep...it's the exact same thing.

There isn't a way to fix the defect of it falling off, so Verizon just is allowing people to get another one (for backup) free of charge.

Call customer service to see if they'll ship it out for you.

I didnt realize this was an issue. My batt door is pretty tight
