last night i accidentally spilled a little water on my phone but it was while it was in the pocket of my cargo shorts and i answered the phone right after that happened and succesfully talked on the phone then it turned off. I got home and plugged it into the charger and at first it wouldn't charge so i took everything out and left it out for half an hour to dry and then i plugged it back in and it charged. After getting about halfway i turned it on while still plugged into the charger and my phone just told me "insert SIM". I tried taking out the SIM card and putting it back in and applying more pressure so the contacts are touching.
    Any ideas?

Re: RAZR V3 SIM card not working

All that I can think of is the water must have short circuted something in the phone causing the phone to not recoginze the card. the only solution I could suggest would be to let it dry out for a day or two and try it again or send it into the manufacturer. the same thing happened to my mom's phone and we had to get it replaced.
