Hey guys
Thanks for the help in advance - I have the old school V551 and I never felt the need to upgrade it. I am looking for a phone that is an update version of this. Im not into all that high tech gadget stuff but I want something thats better quality but same style.
Please put any recommendations. How is the Motorolla W370? Thanks

Hello, rm 777. Who is your carrier (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T ...)? Your best bet might be to start at their website, look at the phones that are available, and check out the features the phones offer. Usually, the more expensive the phone, the more bells & whistles it will have. Then you could go to a site like CNET.com and check out customer reviews for the phones that interest you. Check it out here:

Of course, there may be people reading this forum who can provide their own input on their phones. Personally, I'm with Verizon, and my phone is the Motorola Z6tv (no longer available). Looking at their website, you might be interested in something like the Motorola VU204 (see it here: Enter your location). Ultimately, the choice is up to you.

The w370 is a prepaid phone used by Tracfone.
If you were using the v551 a GSM phone most likely you were using at&t or T-mobile or another GSM carrier, the w490 might be a better option for you:

Re: Who knows MOTOROLA phones?!?!?
I know ever since it's popularity waned and the nauseating ubiquitous-ness has settled most people shy away from suggesting them, but the RAZR 2 is an excellent phone, especially the V9x (for AT&T). It gets outstanding reception and due to the "crystal talk" technology gets great voice quality, which are two features most phones seem to miss these days with all the technology they cram into them. It's also superior to the original RAZR in design and features.
