I have an older (not smart) Samsung phone. Model SGH-E250.
The problem is that I sent a text message and tried to get into the Virgin Website (SIM supplier) on my pc and was charged a pound - somehow.
According to the Virgin advisor who I spoke to over the mobile phone, I was charged a £1 because I have mobile data switched on.
He advised switching it off, but his instructions don't seem quite right.
He advised going into settings, finding mobile data, and then switching it off.
I cannot find mobile data in the settings menu.
Please can you tell me how to switch mobile data off, and any disadvantages in so doing.
Thank you
