new sprint phones?

does anyone know when sprint will be coming out w/ new phones? and if they will be offering the push to talk option?

i heard sprint has opened up channels with nokia and motorola again for phones... but motorola cannot fill their requests this year.

nokia is getting into the PTT game, and considering Sprint and Verizon share CDMA networks and Verizon has PTT, Sprint will follow up soon.

Sprint is also releasing some TV phone from Samsung in the very near future. other than that, their selection is just as stale as Verizon.

all I am gonnna say is that sprint is gonna have some serious stuff rollin out 1st quarter next year... keep ur eyes peeled...

I know most of the new Sprint phones coming out will have the built-in text-messaging feature, instead of getting onto the web and using the current "shortmail" feature. Ah... text-messaging... so useful!!!

I also heard that Verizon bought Nextel, which means that nextel and verizon's ptts will be compatable in the near future... just something to consider

thanks, i was also wondering if the new sprint and verizon ptt will be able to interact with each other as well as nextel. i know its possible but will the compaines allow it without an extra charge

i strongly doubt it, and also why would any major companies make ptt compatible with eachother.....i mean seriously, ya i would love to ptt peeps on other networks, but im pretty sure that wont be happening for quite a while
