hello, i drive tractor trailor and purchased a t-mobile phone and service, my question is, do you get decent signal around the US traveling on interstates? i hope i did not make a mistake, also if your roaming are you using another providers tower and is it true "no roaming" charges? they seem to have the best bang for the buck, but i also want service...thank you

To my surprise, T-mobile actually rank second in most areas. If you want the best coverage than Verizon is the top performer.

Yes; T-Mobile roams on part of Cingular's network. There's the T-Mobile network, and then they have a roaming network that is owned and operated by other carriers, but T-Mobile has agreements to use their network.

Verizon's CDMA technology usually provides good call clarity but everyone I know who has either Verizon (CDMA) or Sprint (CDMA) have this annoying problem of incoming calls sporatically coming in and not causing their phone to ring.

TMo might have some holes in coverage in rural areas but I've never had any problems with them in any decent sized city.
