I had never tried TMobile and my current phone wasn't getting signal so I thought I would give TMobile a try and knew I wanted to when I saw this thing, unfortunately my area seems to screw up every single cell phone signal out there but sprint so I will have to return it within my 14 days and wait till I can move.
Anyway...
I got windows vista and I cannot seem to get the phone to allow me to connect it through the computer. I can charge it through the usb port, but not access the phone. ( I also cannot burn cds, dvds, use nero, and so much more, Windows seems to have so many problems now...so I guess they really did copy mac too much haha...sorry, just not a mac fan ).
Any solutions for me?

Re: BlackBerry Pearl Question
Nevermind, I got it. I guess my front usb ports don't send as much power as the rear ones.

Re: BlackBerry Pearl Question
I have never had a smart phone before, mostly because of the size, but this thing seems amazing. I haven't really been able to put it to the full test though because I just threw on the 600 minute my fav plan and nothing else so I could just test to see how T-Mobile's signal is out at my place.
This phone seems amazing though, having an easier keyboard, high resolution screen, so simple to load content on it, and a wide variety of added programs out there for it..at a price though. I would definitely recommend it and it seems that almost everyone else who has tried it would too.
I would suggest doing what I did and trying it out for the 14 days first, make sure you like it, but I think you will for sure. I have had a V a chocolate that 3mp camera phone from verizon and have had some hands on experience with the pocket pc and so far I think this thing blows all those away. The little guy is pricey, but $150 after mail in rebate after you sign up isn't bad, I think thats about the same cost as the krzr.

Re: BlackBerry Pearl Question
No problem, happy to help. I met someone tonight with one too and he seemed to be very happy with it. He did say he had been having problems with his freezing up though and that he planned to exchange it.
I have seen several reviews that state the same so I would suggest getting the handset protection to be safe. These issues may have been fixed by now though, mine seems to run perfect from program to program even while putting your spot with one program on hold while accessing another. I had a song selected earlier, the little brick breaker game going, the camera and my message screen going today and I was easily able to slip out of one program to the other and then come back right to where i left off again later.
I am really impressed, I am for sure going to get the phone and the service for good once I can break out of all my ampd problems. I really want to try out all the data features too.If my post helped you out, I would really appreciate a little Rep, Thanks, im running beyond low.
