I have had my VX7000 for over a year, and I have had no problems. Yesterday I dropped my phone onto carpet, from literally 18 inches above the ground. Now when I press the power button it shows the verizon wireless with the black background then shuts off when I release the power button. The same thing happens when I plug it in my charger. I have tried to take out the battery and put it back in but nothing works. It seems like a connection or something isn't clicking over. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong, or how I can fix it, without having to purchase a new phone?
    Thank you very much.

    Re: VX 7000 Question

Wow....my old 7000 took a beating and it would probably still be working if it didn't decide to go swimming one day while I was out fishing.

If you can't even turn the phone on....there's not much we can do for you. Take it into a Verizon Store and see if maybe there's something they can do for you.
