My daughter is in the market for a new cellphone (the speaker on her LG Chocolate just died). She is very interested in the upcoming Motorola Android phone because she works as a programmer for a company who is involved in cellphone programs. We went to a local Verizon store yesterday, and the CSR we spoke with said he thought the new 'droid would hit the market sometime next month, possibly the week before Thanksgiving.

I don't want a phone that increases my monthly payment, and i'll have to take some kind of DATA plan with this phone, so, i might stay with the DARE.
