i enabled my wi-fi connection on my phone, it showed my Verizon Fios name, i clicked on it, and then was prompt for the password... connected.

Are you having issues with the Wi-Fi connection?
By the way, I can check in my system (where I work...NOT VERIZON) and it'll tell me if the reported issues are known or unknown. Known issues are generally common and unknown are the result of a faulty device. Known issues usually become fixed with a software update.
I can tell you Wi-Fi connecting issues is not a known issue...but the phone is only a day old release...you've had yours much longer.
How long do you get to keep it anyway?
