Re: unlock moto razr v3 HELP
Well, to unlock it you are going to need an unlock code. The unlock code is specific to your IMEI number and your carrier so it is a unique item. That means someone has to do work to get the code for you (and they have to have access to the database for which they have to pay). Consequently, you are unlikely to get that information (reliably) for free. However, there are people on the internet (some of whom advertise on this site) who will get you that information very inexpensively. I suggest you use one of those providers...

Re: unlock moto razr v3 HELP
If your phone is with AT&T or T-Mobile and not under contract you can get the unlock code and instructions for unlocking from your provider at no cost. It may take a few days to get as they have to get the code from the manufacturer as well. Normally you can do this no more than once every 90 days with a given provider. The phones from T-Mobile, AT&T and many others are GSM phones and can be used in other countries when unlocked. If you are asked why you want to unlock the phone just reply that you are going out of the country and want to use your phone while traveling.
I find it best to just call their customer service and talk to a live person as email requests usually seem to get lost somewhere.

Re: unlock moto razr v3 HELP
Dude, what's the bootloader in your V3? If it's 8.26.0 or something like it, all you have to do is downgrade the bootloader to 7.D0. You need RSDLite, Moto unlock and the 7.D0 bootloader. If I'm allowed to upload the tuto without being ban, I'll be more than happy to. But you can do it for free in your own home. At least if it is the Razr V3. There are other Razrs that you have to test point to unlock.
