Hi, I just recently bought a new cell phone from Nextel. I used to have the Motorola i275, and have MANY ringtones on there. I want to transfer these to my new Motorola i860. I bought the USB Cable, and stuff...but I need SERIOUS help...How in the world do I transfer the files?? (cry) ANY help is super appreciated. THank you!!

Not sure if this is right but I think you need to download MPT(Mobile Phone Tools) and copy your ringtones from the phone to your pc and then copy them to your new phone. Hope this works

That's right, USB cable isn't enough, you need software like MPT. Ask friends may be they have it. I say borrow because it isn't cheap, but you won't use very often.
Another way, ask Nextel, may be they offer such a service.

This is a 9 month old thread, folks. Actually, with all iDEN phones I find the easiest way to get ringtones on and off the phone for free is with webjal. It's free and easy to use, and you can learn everything you ever needed to know about webjal from harrythompson.com
