Ok, by stripped, you mean that the head of the screw is stripped and has no groves left on it, or that the screw just turns in place and will neither go back in or out?

If it's just the head of the screw, then you still have a chance of getting it out by trying to make a slot of some kind in the screw till you can turn it. You will then of course need another screw which is no easy feat, but can be done with some searching. If nothing else find somebody with an old phone a rob the screws out of it.

If it just turns in it's slot, then you are in a bit of trouble.

You can try and destroy the old faceplate around the screw so all thats left is the screw (I have done that before) or you can try and put something between the faceplate and the phone where the screw is stripped and put constant pressure between the two and try and unscrew the screw that way.

Your problem now is, once you get the old faceplate off and hopefully the screw, then what? You have a stripped screw and the hole where the screw is supposed to go. Well, you are really limited to a couple options, use something like a very small amount of JB weld or something simular to weld the screw back in once you have the new faceplate on, or, use something like super-glue to glue that corner of the phone together.

Either way, that faceplate is on there for good.

One thing you should not do, is put the three screws back in and leave the fourth out. The dust and garbage that will eventually get in the phone wil ruin it. Also, more than likely it will vibrate every time it rings or you talk on it; depending of course when the missing screw is located.

I hope you can fix this. Let me know how it goes.
