i'm looking for a phone i can pick up cheap as my last phone died. I would probably be getting it from ebay or similiar.. i would love a phone with mp3 and bluetooth but nothing is a necessity .. as long as the phone functions (signal strength) are decent

    Thank you for your suggestions

Cheap is in the eyes of the guy's who wallet money of coming out of.

So what's in your wallet? Err.... I mean what is your budget?
Next what cell phone provider are you using?

People can help you much better if they know what provider you are wanting to buy a phone from, whether it's Cingular or T-Mobile (both are GSM), Verizon (CDMA), etc. Hate for you to buy the best "cheap phone" only to find out after it arrives that you can't even use it. And yes it happens more often than you'd think.

I can't stress enough how usefull it is to fill out your profile, especially the part where one specifies what carrier and phone one uses, makes so much easier to help.

I'm on Cingular and im a student so $100 usd is going to be the cap for the moment. i know that severely limits my options.. I was looking at the v600.. anyone had any experience with this phone? ... the phone doesnt necessarily have to be moto, but i typically like them.

The moto v600 is an excellent phone, i like it better than my Razr actually, it has better earpiece volume, if you check through Craiglist you can probably find one for less than $100.

Wow. A SLVR for for about $100? The V600 & V620 are nice...I just got a V620 off ebay for only $80. Craigslist is a great site as well. One time I found a MPX220 selling for $30...and it works perfectly (well, with the exception of the speaker of course).
