Is it possible to upload ringtones from you computer?
It seems like I can only access ringtones from my phone
memory and not by sd memory. Do I have to convert
mp3's to a different kind of file??

Re: SLVR L7 Ringtones
Your phone supports mp3 tones and you can send them to your phone via your included cable and using your phone as a removible media device, send your tones to your phone (you should see your phone as a removible device in "My Computer") one this is done make sure you use your Safely remove hardware option from you taskbar and go to your tone folder from your phone and hit your soft menu (this is the same button as your menu button but when using this way it's called "soft" (don't know why)) and scroll to switch storage device, chose whatever you named your sd card and scroll to your tone-soft menu again-select move-phone, and viola the tone is now on your phone for use. Hope this helps.

Not on your SD card, just store them there, until you want to use one, same with games and pics. You can transfer back and forth at will.

Griffzan:
I have tried the steps you suggested to the other user. My question is does that work for wav files too? I was successful transferring the files to the phone and can see them in the "sounds" menu. But cannot see the files in the "audio" menu which is where the ringtones are kept? Can you walk me through this again?
thanks
