    Hello,

Is there anyway to reprogram a V220 (say by reprogramming the sim) that was originally for Rogers (GSM quad mode) to be used on a CDMA network like Telus?

It would be nice if I can program it to clone my existing phone, on Telus...

I don't want to switch networks yet... But I have an unlocked V220, I would like to use... But in Canada unlocked seems to mean GSM networks, which means Rogers or Fido (owned by Rogers)...

I heard the V220 can work in CDMA mode (normally only when roaming).

    Any ideas??

That is simply not true, a handset made to work on the GSM network will not work on a CDMA network.

Tony is 110% right. You cannot reprogram a GSM phone to work on a CDMA network. It simply isn't possible. Ever. You have to buy a GSM phone for a GSM network and a CDMA phone for a CDMA network. There is no workaround.
