Everyone has told me that the bat life on these phones suck..is there any truth behind this? Does it depend if they are the older or newer ones?

Re: razr battery life?
People seem to forget that it depends how much time you talk on your phone and how much you use your browser, listen to your saved mp3's etc.., alot of factors come into play, the more you talk obviously the faster it will drain.
The Razr's battery life is no worse or no better than your average cellphone.

Re: razr battery life?
Works fine for me. I have though, changed a few lighting settings, which I've noticed have decreased the life slightly. Still, I can usually go a few days between charges. However, I think the phone senses when I'm going out of town, as it's always really low on juice. lol.

Re: razr battery life?
if you cant go at least a day, i'd have it checked out. i do all that stuff on my razr and the battery usually dies by the time i go to bed, so i let it charge overnite.

Re: razr battery life?
I like the fact that the charger for the RAZR is so small, I can just stick it in my stick it in my laptop bag and carry it with me whenever I go somewhere for work. I have had my RAZR for about 18 months with what I would call average usage (4-5 call per day, play games a couple times per day) and I have not noticed any reduced battery life.

Re: razr battery life?
At first I thought the battery life was pretty good, but when I got my replacement phone the battery life on the new one was close to nill. It only lasted about two hours and only a half hour is I was talking on it. I had to buy a new one since the company would not provide me with a new one.

It depends on how much you talk or play games, listen to music etc. Also it depends on screen brightness, but it doesn't really matter

Re: razr battery life?
If you guys get a really good 3in one charger, you can charge your battery whether your driving, near a plug, or on a computer(usb)
I dont even bother with charging while im on the go, a spare battery is the best way to go.. just replace when your battery charges and charge the spare while the other one is in use
