ROKR E8 charging problems

I have a new ROKR tmobile E8 and one day it died and whenever I charged it only an orange light lit up near the charging port, and it wouldn't turn on. I bought a new battery for it and now the same thing has happened. It just wont turn on. I have tried a few different chargers.

Sounds like the charging port itself. If it's a new phone, it should still be covered under warranty. Check with your vendor.
