    Enable Power Saver Mode:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Under “Personal”, tap “Power” > “Power saver”
    4. Tick the boxes associated with the battery saving features you want to be enabled during Power Saving Mode
    5. Tap the “Power saver” switch to enable

    Decrease Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Swipe to “Phone” and tap “Display & Gestures”
    3. Tap “Brightness level” and, if necessary, turn off “Automatic brightness”
    4. Drag the brightness slider towards the left side of the screen
    5. Go back to “Display & Gestures” and tap “Screen timeout”
    6. Select a lower value, such as “15 seconds”

    Disable Wi-Fi, Hotspot, GPS, and Bluetooth:

    NOTE: You can improve battery life in the long run by disabling the phone’s connectivity features when they are not in use (Bluetooth, Hotspot, Wi-Fi, GPS).

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings” and tap the “Wi-Fi” and “Bluetooth” switches to disable these features
    3. Under “Wireless & networks”, tap “More”
    4. Tap “Mobile networks sharing” and turn off “Mobile hotspot”
    5. Go back to “Settings”, scroll to “Personal” and tap “Location”
    6. Tap “Mode” > “Battery saving”

    Change Sync Settings and Disable Background Sync:

    NOTE: You can improve battery life in the long run by setting your accounts / phone to sync less data, and by disabling background sync.

    1. Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Tap “Accounts & sync” and select an app to disable background sync
    3. For more sync options you can select an account

    NOTE: Sync options will differ from one account type to another.

    Minimize the Use of Third Party Applications:

    NOTE: Certain third party applications can affect your phone’s battery life even if you don’t use them; assuming that the apps perform regular background processes. As such, you can improve battery life in the long run by disabling or uninstalling unused third party applications.

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Access “Settings” and scroll to “Phone”
    3. Tap “Apps”
    4. Go to the “Downloaded” tab and select the desired app
    5. Tap “Disable” to turn off the application
    6. Alternatively, tap “Uninstall” > “OK” to remove the app from the phone

    Switch from 4G to 2G:

    1. Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Tap “Mobile data”
    3. Tap “Network mode” and select “GSM only”

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: Software updates can sometimes include battery life improvements, so it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date. You can check if new updates are available by following these steps:

    1. Access the “Settings” menu
    2. Under “Phone”, tap “About”
    3. Tap “Software information” > “Check now”
    4. In case an update is available, follow the on-screen steps to download and install it
