Dropped my i730 in the drink ... it sat under water for about 3 hours, I opened it up and dried it off about 5 hours after that. At first it didn't work, but then the phone worked and the 2-way does not.
Any suggestions? What do I need to do to get the 2-way going again? I've bought an i830 in the meantime, just want to get this working again or sell as parts if it's not worth it.
Thanks.

you could always take it back to a nextel store and pay $55 and get a new one, you may be able to say it is some sort of factory defect and get a new one for $35

What is that $55.00 for? some kind of discounted refurb?
They looked at my phone and told me immediately I needed to purchase a new one - this one is only about 4 months old, purchased it at the same place.
Thanks for your help.

If it does not show water damage on the outside you can take it back and say it stopped work and they will replace it for $55 with no contract extension, just don't tell them it received water damage.
