memory card prob

i bought nokia n80 just a week ago. i got 128 mb card free with it. it was said that it supports memory card upto 2 gb so i purchased 1 gb mc of some other company. now the prob is dat whenever i load data abt 400 mb it starts hanging n it restarts automatically i have checked d mc in card reader it works fine. so i want to know if nebody has the same prob n if this prob cud b removed by buying a 1 gb mc of nokia .
i desperately need some help. pls help thanks.

just make format for the device if didn;t work make new software

It says on sites holds up to 2GB.. Check the onboard (phone) memory, sometimes when the phone memory is full it starts restarting itself
