sony ericson k700i

I have been offered a k700i on Orange but it has been barred not sure
what this means is it worth having can it be used on other networks guy
wants £25 for it.

If it's barred, then it'll be useless in the UK. The IMEI could be altered,
but I doubt very much that you'll get anyone to risk five years in prison
and a very hefty fine for doing it. Unlocking it will make no difference -
it'll still be barred.

dont buy it, its against the law to change imei not worth the fine or jail
sentence for a phone, it would work abroad though
