I recently got a Nokia 3595 phone. I like it a lot and it seems very versatile,
but I noticed the "select" and "back" keys, and to some extent the scroll keys
seem to occasionally make a sort of squeaking sound as they're pressed. Has
anyone else noticed this about this phone? I'm not sure if it's a result of the
plastic keys touching the plastic casing around them or something to that
effect.

Re: Nokia 3595
I had the same problem. Yes, it is where the keys rub the case. I took
the case and trimmed some of the plastic away from the inside. I cut it
at a slight angle so as not to damage the front of the face to keep it
looking normal. It seems to have done the trick.
Cheers

I don't think I want to take a chance and try that, with my luck I'd probably
destroy the face of the phone. But I appreciate your answer, thanks.

Yes, it's because of friction between the case and the rubber that
comprises the keypad.
When I replaced the entire housing and keypad with a more conventional
layout (the 3510) the noise went away.
