3310 security code help

Help, i have just got a nokia 3310 that is supposed to be unlocked, but when i
put my sim card, it asks for a security code, what is a security code? does it
mean its locked? Please help

ask the person who you bought it from what the security code is...
or try 12345, 00000, 11111, 55555 there are no limits to the amount of times
you can do it..
or if ya have a data lead just use logomanager and that will show you what
it is.

it doesn't mean the phone is locked to a network its just that the last
person who had it has set up a security level so inserting a different sim
means it asks for a code..

Cheers for that, I did ask the person and he said that he didnt put a code on
it, but i have a friend who has a cable and logomanager, so i will visit him
with a pack of beer! cheers mate

If he has never set a code, it will still be
the Nokia default of 12345. He must have
set 'phone security' to 'on' otherwise it
would not have asked for a code.
