I'm looking for some applications, not necessarily games that are Java based for
the V9 Moto.
I've found a couple of websites that have commercial products but I'm looking
for more freeware stuff.
Any suggestions?

Thanks. While mostly games it seems to have a fair swag of other stuff.
Unfortunately the two progs that I downloaded and installed (World Time progs)
wouldn't lock onto local time. Kept on giving me time 14hrs ahead. ie. 5pm here
but insisted that it was 7am tomorrow morning...

That looks suspiciously like a time zone problem, like you havent got the
timezone set properly in the handset or the app cant find that in that handset etc.

That's what I thought. But it's set correctly, and even set to automatically
update time and time zone.
Anyway, it doesn't matter. I'll use the built in one. I was hoping to have one
with 3 remote time zones but the V9's has your local time and two others.
